NH State Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Incident in Merrimack
Troopers are searching for a car involved in a crash with a motorcycle last night on the Everett Turnpike.

New Hampshire State Police troopers are asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack last night.
At around 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2015, troopers were called to an accident involving a vehicle and motorcycle on the northbound side of the highway near Mile Marker 15.4.
When they arrived, they learned that ”the driver of the motor vehicle had fled the scene,” according to Sgt. Bryan Trask of the NHSP.

“Witnesses indicated that a tan or gold sedan had passed them just prior to the crash scene and was being operated erratically,” according to a statement.
Troopers spoke to the motorcycle rider - a 20-year-old Manchester man - and analyzed the scene and “it was determined that the unidentified motor vehicle was the cause of this crash.” The vehicle, according to the report, crashed into the motorcycle, and the rider lost control and crashed. He was taken to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle was described as a tan or gold older model Chevrolet Malibu. The state police believe the vehicle should have significant front end damage and should be missing its front bumper.
