NH Woman Charged with Assault

MERRIMACK, NH - A woman was arrested on a domestic violence charge after an assault incident in town last month, according to police.

Ligia Carolina Gomez, 31, unknown address, was arrested on April 17, 2016, for domestic violence-simple assault.

According to police, officers were sent to a local home for a report of a domestic incident at around 3:45 a.m.

When they arrived, they investigated the incident and a victim alleged that Gomez had assaulted them, according to the report.

Gomez was arrested on a single count and released on personal recognizance bail. She was scheduled to appear in Merrimack District Court on April 19, according to police.
