NY Woman Bagged for Bogus Travelers Checks

Merrimack Police arrest Olga Serova after incident last month at the mall.

A New York woman was arrested last week on seven counts of forgery, according to police.

Olga Serova, 29, of West 29th Street in Brooklyn, NY, was arrested on Sept. 29, 2015, on the felony charges.

According to police, Serova was shopping at the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall and allegedly “passed several bogus travelers checks” at stores in the mall.

The next day, she was arrested and held on $10,000 cash bail.

According to police, they are continuing to investigate the incident.
