Obama to Visit Elm Street School in Nashua

James Taylor will be opening for the President during the Saturday campaign stop in the Gate City.

An Obama campaign official confirmed that the President will make an appearance Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Keefe Auditorium at the Elm Street Middle School.

Special guest and New England native James Taylor will joining Obama during the midday stop.

Doors for the event will open at noon. Ticket information is availble online.

Other information, including where to park and road closure information, will be forthcoming, a campaign official said.

Wednesday morning Mayor Donnalee Lozeau said that the campaign would be billed for the stop, depending on which venue was settled on. Initial proposed sites, including Holman Stadium, Stellos Stadium, and Greeley Park were ruled out due to prescheduled activities.

A campaign stop last month by Romney at Holman Stadium resulted in a bill for $5,400 to cover the venue and additional police detail, Lozeau said.
