'Offensive Words' During Dispute Leads to Arrest: Cops
Merrimack Police: Nancy Manley was arrested on charges after a landlord-tenant incident on Belmont Drive.

MERRIMACK, NH - A landlord-tenant dispute led to charges for one local woman after she allegedly wouldn’t stop using offensive language in public, according to police.
Nancy Ann Manley, 39, of Ash Street in Nashua, was arrested on May 27, 2016, and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police were sent to Belmont Drive at just after 5:30 p.m. for a report of a dispute between a landlord and tenant, according to police.

When they arrived, Manley was reportedly packing up her belongings but “using offensive words that could be heard by the neighbors in the area,” according to Sgt. Gregory Walters of the Merrimack Police Department.
“Manley was warned to stop by the Merrimack Police; but she continued to use offensive words,” Walters alleged. “She was advised that she was being arrested. When officers attempted to arrest her she resisted.”
Manley was processed and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on July 21.
