Painting Kiosk at Watson Park
A small grant from the Merrimack Conservation Commission paid for the artists to create a map of the Souhegan River watershed.
The newly built Rotary kiosk in Watson Park in Merrimack is getting a map of the Souhegan River watershed being painted by professional artists Anthony Williams of Manchester and Deb Curtin of Londonderry thanks to a small grant from the Merrimack Conservation Commission, according to George May.
Planning for the painting has been going on all summer and work finally began this week.
The artists are there during most days and willing to talk and visit with passersby and folks using the park walking their dogs and having lunch. The work is expected to be completed next week.

Williams is the same artist who painted the silo at the Homestead Restaurant in Reeds Ferry that has generated so much praise from drivers up and down Route 3.
