All Merrimack residents are invited to a PFAS information session scheduled for Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 pm in the Matthew Thornton room at Town Hall. This is to inform newer residents about the history and to inform everyone about the on-going work in this area. The agenda includes: Discovery and Early Response (Laurene Allen, Merrimack Citizens for Clean Water), MVD Settlement, On-going Litigation, & Water Treatment (Don Provencher, MVD), Consent Decree & State Response (Rep. Rosemarie Rung), Past, Present, Future Legislation (Rep. Wendy Thomas), Health Impacts/Education (Rep. Nancy Murphy, and Q&A.
The meeting will be live-streamed on Merrimack TV and available on their app.
