Photo of the Day: Return of the Champions
Jason Meserve of Amherst shared this photo back in June when a heroes parade was held in Boston for the Stanley Cup Champions.
Labeled simply: Stanley and the Hancocks, this photo was shared in June by Amherst resident Jason Meserve who made his way down to Boston with the masses to catch a glimpse of the first Bruins team to win the Stanley Cup in nearly 40 years.
The Bruins will make a go at holding on to the Cup this year, starting with their season opener tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7 p.m. in Boston. Prior to the game, there will be a ceremony to hoist the championship banner.
