Planning-Zoning Administrator Heading to Concord
Nancy E. Larson has been named the new planner for the capital city.
In March, Merrimack will lose its planning and zoning administrator.
Nancy E. Larson, who has been working for the town for about seven years, was hired to be the new city planner in Concord, according to a press statement from the Concord city manager’s officer.
Larson replaces Gloria McPherson, who left last fall and moved back to Massachusetts after a two-year stint working for the city.

In a statement, Concord Deputy City Manager Carlos Baía said that Larson had “a proven record of dedication to the planning profession and municipal public service” and had knowledge of land use law as well as working with planning and zoning boards in New Hampshire.
“She will be an invaluable addition to the Community Development Department and the City as a whole,” he said.
