Please Re-Elect Frank Guinta to Congress

Brief Opinion Piece Supporting the Re-Election of Frank Guinta to Congress

To the Community of Merrimack:

I write to encourage you to support the re-election of Congressman Frank Guinta on November 8th. Here’s why.

As your Town Councilor in Merrimack, I have seen, first-hand, Congressman Guinta's effectiveness in representing the needs and concerns of New Hampshire’s First Congressional District in Washington, D.C. He’s been leading the bipartisan fight against opioid addiction that has impacted many families in Merrimack and the District. He continues to fight the EPA's unfunded mandate of costly and onerous stormwater regulations that will potentially raise local property taxes and cost NH communities, like Merrimack, millions and millions of dollars. He's fought NOAA's draconian fishing regulations and mandatory costs that will permanently decimate New Hampshire's fishing industry. He's also led a bipartisan effort to delay the Affordable Care Act’s most destructive tax on middle-class families’ health insurance plans.

Congressman Guinta's local governmental experience has been invaluable in representing the District on these critical issues of importance to us. He's given his constituency a real voice in Washington, D.C. on these vital issues impacting us. In my opinion, Congressman Guinta has been tremendously effective in keeping these federal agencies local "mission creep" in check.

Frank is my friend and my Congressman. He is a dependable, common-sense conservative who has brought sensible solutions to Congress which has resulted in many bipartisan accomplishments. I unequivocally and enthusiastically support his re-election to Congress, and I would encourage you to please join me on Tuesday, November 8th to vote for Frank Guinta.
