Police: Manchester Man Violated Protective Order

Patrick Devine was arrested by the NHSP on a Merrimack warrant after a 911 hang up call from a local hotel.

A local man was arraigned in court this morning after allegedly violating a restraining order earlier this week.

Patrick Devine, 26, of Manchester, was arrested on Nov. 19, 2015, on a violation of a protective order charge.

Police reported that at around 1:15 a.m. on Nov. 18, 2015, officers were called to a local hotel for a report of a 911 hang up call. They investigated the call and found that a protective order may have been violated at the hotel.

“Upon further investigation by the officers, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Patrick Devine for violation of a protective order which prevented him from being within 500 feet of the victim,” according to Sgt. Kenneth MacLeod.

A warrant was issued for Devine’s arrest and New Hampshire State Police arrested him on Nov. 19. He was turned over to Merrimack Police and held without bail. Devine was transported to the Hillsborough Department of Corrections and was arraigned this morning.
