Prepare for Traffic Pattern Change for the Primary

Merrimack Police: Traffic around the high school Feb. 9 will be different.

MERRIMACK, NH - A heads up to all New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary voters: There will be a different, temporary traffic pattern at Merrimack High School, according to police, in order to assist with voting.

From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., police will be requiring that all voter traffic enter from McElwain and Woodbury streets and exit the parking lot onto O’Gara Drive to Baboosic Lake Road. Police announced the traffic pattern change yesterday.

Handicap parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the Everett Turnpike along the west-side of O’Gara Drive closest to the High School. Signage will direct voters to that location as well.
