Ron Paul: Liberty Movement Grows

This was Ron Paul's de facto convention speech, since he won't be giving one during the Republican National Convention this week, and the presidential hopeful who captured second in the 2012 New Hampshire Primary didn't waste any time getting to his point:

The "liberty movement" is moving to the fore.

Bob Goodman of Exeter, an alternate delegate to the RNC, said Paul spoke to an estimated 10,000 people at the Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. He snapped this photo of the venue at the University of South Florida.

It's clear, Goodman tells Patch, that the energy that the Texas congressman saw in New Hampshire has only grown.

The Ron Paul Revolution, contrary to some editorial writers, is not over, Paul said Sunday to the crowd.

"They only wish!" he said to thunderous applause.
