Route 3 Paving to Begin Monday

As the Manchester Airport Access Road comes closer to completion, paving on Route 3 near the Merrimack/Bedford town line is scheduled to begin Monday.

The project is expected to take several days, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

The paving will affect a stretch of Route 3 about three quarters of a mile long and will require periods of alternating one-way traffic, according to NHDOT.

Line striping will be done just after paving is complete

People who travel that stretch of road should expect delays and are encouraged to seek an alternate route.

Weaver Brother's Inc., of Bow, is handling the project.
