Santa Calls with the help of the Merrimack Police Department!

On Tuesday, December 17 and Wednesday, December 18, Santa took a break from making his list and checking it twice to make some very important phone calls to more than 40 Merrimack children.  The children were delighted that Santa knew all about them and they were able to share some last minute wishes with him!

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Captain Albert and the Merrimack Police Department for volunteering their time and Holiday Spirit for the Santa Calling program.  Parents are thrilled we offer this program, and each child is excited to receive a call from Santa right before Christmas!

Thank you to Captain Albert for organizing the volunteers as well as playing Santa, and also thank you to Chief Doyle, Lt. Edmonds, Sgt.Foley, Sgt.Dillon, Officer Walters, and Officer Milligan for bringing Santa to Merrimack to the delight of each child they called!  We appreciate the continued support from the Merrimack Police Department at all of our events, from keeping our residents safe to bringing joy to children at the Holiday's!
