School Bus Crash Reported In Merrimack

MERRIMACK, NH - Merrimack fire and rescue, and police responded to a bus accident on Daniel Webster Highway near Loop Road at 9 a.m. Monday. The bus was traveling North on DW Highway when it stopped, and for unknown reasons, the driver of the car behind it, struck the bus and went under the rear of the bus.

The bus did not have any students onboard and was occupied by only the driver who was not injured. The driver of the automobile was checked out by Merrimack fire and she refused medical treatment.

The automobile was wedged under the rear of the bus, and Merrimack fire used airlift bags and lifted the bus so the vehicle.

The accident is being investigated by Merrimack police.
