Seabrook Man Arrested on Driving Charges

Merrimack Police: Ryan Cormier was also wanted by Beford Police on a failing to appear warrant.

MERRIMACK, NH – A New Hampshire man was arrested last week on driving charges after turning himself in to police on an active warrant.

Ryan Cormier, 27, of Ocean Boulevard in Seabrook, was arrested on June 27, 2016, on an electronic bench warrant as well as operating a motor vehicle with suspended license and operating a motor vehicle, second offense, with suspended registration charges.

Cormier, according to police, turned himself in on a Bedford Police warrant for failing to appear in court on an inspection violation charge, according to Lt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police.

When doing so, police reportedly learned that his license and registration were under suspension, due to default. Since he allegedly drove to the police station for the warrant arrest, Cormier was issued more charges, according to Dillon.

He was later released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 18.
