MERRIMACK, NH — The town of Merrimack will be hosting a candlelight ceremony to recognize the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016. The ceremony will be held at Abbie Griffin Park in Merrimack. Town Council Chairman Nancy Harrington will serve as emcee for this event.
Many Merrimack groups will be participating including Merrimack Police Department and Merrimack Fire and Rescue Department, Merrimack Concert Association, VFW Post 8641, American Legion Post 98 and Merrimack Girl and Boy Scouts.
Candles will be provided for all who attend, according to the town manager's office.
