Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for NH
The National Weather Service has posted an alert this morning running through 4 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a “severe thunderstorm watch” for most of New Hampshire for today, June 23, 2015. The alert was issued at 10:10 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m. It covers most of the Granite State including Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Rockingham counties.
According to the NWS, thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and into the early evening ahead of a cold front.
“Some of these storms will likely become severe with large hail and strong damaging winds,” according to the watch alert. “Torrential rains could produce localized drainage flooding.”

The storms are expected to pass and leave only lingering showers later in the evening.
