Star Wars is Here: But Leave the Masks, Weapons at Home
Some cinemas are banning large bags and requesting customers not to attend showings wearing masks or carrying lightsabers, blasters.

MERRIMACK, NH - “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is almost here but area cinemas, including Cinemagic locations around New Hampshire, are warning customers attending showings not to come to the wearing mask or carrying simulated weapons like lightsabers or blasters.

Cinemagic also requested customers not to bring in large bags, backpacks, or briefcases into the building, after receiving recommendations from Homeland Security.

Many other theatre chains – including AMC, according to CBS News – is also requesting customers not wear masks. Although, the CEO of Emagine told another news outlet that fake lightsabers were OK.
