Teen Allegedly Holds Youth Against Will

A Merrimack teenager allegedly assaulted and threatened another youth and held them against their will, police said Tuesday.

Police arrested Matthew Stella, 18, of Harwich Court, and charged him with criminal threatening, false imprisonment, simple assault, and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana).

Police allegedly found evidence of the assaults, as well as some marijuana, after executing a search warrant at Stella’s residence.

Stella was held on $7,500 cash bail. He faced arraignment Wednesday in the Ninth Circuit Court Division-Merrimack.
