Teen Arrested for Theft

Merrimack Police: Matthew Sanchez was arrested at the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall last week.

A Bedford teen is due to appear in court later this month after an alleged shoplifting incident at Saks 5th Avenue, according to a report.

Matthew Sanchez, 18, of Joppa Hill Road in Bedford, was arrested on July 3, 2015, and charged with theft-willful concealment.

At around 5 p.m. on July 3, police were sent to the Saks 5th Avenue at the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for a report of a theft complaint.

When they arrived, they spoke with store employees and after a brief investigation, according to Sgt. Joseph Goodridge of the Merrimack Police Department, arrested Sanchez for allegedly “taking clothing from the store without paying for it.”

Sanchez is due to appear in Merrimack District Court on July 14.
