“The victims advised that three subjects, one of which was known to them, pointed two pistols at the two victims, stole a cell phone and a small amount of marijuana,” according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department. “The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on bicycles.”
Officers located the suspects on the Daniel Webster Highway near the U.S. Post Office where they reportedly abandoned their bicycles and fled the scene on foot. Clark and the 14-year-old were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit, according to Cassell. A third suspect fled into a wooded area near Twin Bridge Road and the Kids Kove Playground.
“Officers set up a perimeter and conducted an extensive search of the area with assistance from the New Hampshire State Police,” Cassell noted.
The third suspect was located two hours later hiding in the same general area and was arrested without incident, according to the report.
Police then searched the area attempting to find more evidence and allegedly found a backpack with a BB gun that looked like a .357 magnum and matched the description by witnesses as one of the guns used against the victims, according to police.
Clark was held on $50,000 cash bail and is due in court on Monday. The Lawrence juvenile was held at the Sununu Center in Manchester pending a juvenile hearing in Merrimack District Court. The Nashua juvenile was released to his parents.
