Three Arrested After Heroin Bust in Merrimack

Police are looking for a possible fourth suspect; more arrests could be coming in the future.

Three men were arrested on Friday and a fourth sought after a major heroin bust in Merrimack, according to police.

Arrested on Sept. 26, were:

Stephen Massua, 25, of Profile Drive in Merrimack, (pictured top), who was charged with two counts of unlawful sale of a narcotic drug, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a narcotic drug, and transporting a narcotic drug. He was held on $25,000 cash bail.

Craig Massua, 29, also of Profile Drive in Merrimack (middle picture), was charged with possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute and possession of a narcotic drug. He was also held on $25,000 bail.

Bradley Stuart, 22, of Merrymeeting Drive in Merrimack, (bottom) was arrested on an unlawful possession of a narcotic drug. He’s due in court on Oct. 7.

According to police, the three men were arrested on Sept. 25, at a local hotel.

“Police had been conducting a lengthy investigation into the sale of the Narcotic drug, Heroin within the town of Merrimack,” according to Lt. Denise Roy. “Police had received several tips regarding Steven Massua being involved in distributing Heroin within town. Police were able to make several undercover purchases of heroin from Steven and an arrest warrant was issued for those sales.”

Police expect to make more arrests.

Investigators are also looking to identify an unknown man pictured on the lower left hand corner of the photo compilation who reportedly arrived a short time before Steven Massua’s arrest.

“The unknown male and Steven were observed by officers conducting a drug transaction and are seeking to identify the male pictured,” Roy stated.
