Three Injured in Daniel Webster Highway Crash

Merrimack Fire and Rescue teams transported the injured to St. Joseph's Hospital.

While Merrimack Fire and Rescue teams were dealing with brush fires today, they also had a major accident to to clear on the Daniel Webster Highway, according to Fire Marshal John Manuele.

At just before 2 p.m. on April 22, 2015, a two-vehicle accident was reported nearly 140 DW Highway.

Engine 2 and Ambulance 1 responded and upon arrival found two vehicles with major damage, according to Manuele. After assessing the scene it was determined that there were three patients with injuries, including a 21-year old female with serious injuries, according to a report.

A trauma team was alerted at Saint Joseph’s Hospital and the patient was treated and transported by Merrimack Ambulance 1.

The other two patients had “less serious injuries” and were transported by Merrimack Ambulance 2 and a mutual aid ambulance from AMR.

Crews were tied up at this scene until shortly after 3 p.m., according to Manuele.
