(Photo - Senior Captain Jason Fortin nets the Tomahawks second goal of the game). Sophmore John Tiano and Senior Captain Jason Fortin would score the only two goals of the game as the Tomahawks defeated a very strong Kingswood squad 2-0.
The game featured 45 minutes of hard grinding hockey from both teams. Physical play occurred from the first to the last whistle of the contest.
Kingswood featured division 2 leading scorer Josh Grasso but he was held in check by Senior Matt Brewster and the Tomahawk’s defense. Brewster had a few flurries of activity occasionally through the game and made a great glove save on a tipped shot from the point in the second period to keep the Tomahawks on top 1-0.

Penalties were plentiful in the 3rd period and Kingswood paid the price by skating shorthanded for the much of the last 5 minutes of the game. The Tomahawks prevailed and look to face historical force Bow High School on Saturday evening. Game time is 5:10 pm at West Side Arena.
