Due to pending inclement weather conditions, the Town of Merrimack would like to announce the following updates regarding the 4th of July Festivities.
July 3rd:
The July 3rd Holiday Concert scheduled for Abbie Griffin Park featuring the Merrimack Concert Association will be moved indoors to Merrimack High School's Cafetorium. This Patriotic themed concert will still be held from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
July 4th:
The Rotary Club of Merrimack's Annual Pancake Breakfast is still on for July 4th @ the High School from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.
The 4th of July Parade will still be held as scheduled on July 4th and will kick off at 1:00 pm from the Merrimack Commons Plaza/Tractor Suppply. The parade will travel south on Daniel Webster Hwy, turn right onto Baboosic Lake Rd. and then will turn down O'Gara Drive to end at the Merrimack High School. This is a rain or shine event. In the unlikely event of thunder or lightning then the parade would be cancelled. That decision would be announced via Facebook and Nixle at that time.
The Rotary Club of Merrimack's Family Fun Day has been postponed to Sunday, July 6th and will begin at 3:00 pm from Merrimack High School.
The 4th of July Fireworks have been postponed until Sunday, July 6th and will begin at approximately 9:00 pm from Merrimack High School.
