Varsity Field Hockey Semi-Final Showdown
Merrimack High girls to face off against Manchester Memorial at 5 p.m. in Exeter.
The Varsity Field Hockey team takes on Manchester Memorial tonight in the semi-final round of the Division I State Championship. Merrimack entered the playoffs as the No. 6 seed and beat Londonderry (No. 11) in the first round 4-1.
On Friday afternoon, Oct. 21, Merrimack defeated Salem (No. 3) 2-1 in the quarterfinal round, advancing to this evening's semi-final game against memorial (No. 2).
The game begins at 5 p.m. in Exeter at Bill Ball Stadium at , 315 Epping Road. The winner of tonight's game will advance to the finals on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m. against the winner of this evening's second semi-final game, Pinkerton (No. 1) versus Winnacunnet (No.4), which will be played at Bill Ball Stadium at 7 p.m.
