VIDEO: Guinta Kicks Off Re-election Campaign

Republican incumbent says, 'This is about forever changing the path of our country."

MANCHESTER, N.H. – U.S. Rep. Frank Guinta, the first-term Republican from Manchester, kicked off his re-election bid for the 1st District on Monday night.

Guinta, who will file papers with the Secretary of State's office on Wednesday, does have a primary challenger at this point in the likes of Rick Parent of Wolfeboro. But the race to Election Day 2012 is shaping up as a rematch–and a sprint–between Guinta and former U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, the Rochester Democrat he defeated in 2010.
