VIDEO: Romney Accuses Obama of Broken Promises

Republican nominee crashes veterans press conference in Concord and plans to bring his A-game to Holman Stadium in Nashua tonight.

Republican nominee dropped by the in Concord on Thursday to thank veterans for their support. The candidate shook hands, posed for pictures, and explained that while he didn’t talk about Afghanistan during his convention speech, he did address the American Legion convention during the , something he said  didn’t have time for.

Romney accused Obama of breaking promises to veterans who have more expensive health care than before he took office. Romney said it would be “interesting” to listen to the president explain his “broken promises to forgotten people. The president needs to report tonight on his promises rather than try and reset a whole set of new promises he also won’t be able to keep,” Romney said.

When asked if he had been watching the Democratic convention, Romney said, “No, I haven’t watched so far.” When asked if he would be watching Obama’s acceptance speech Thursday night, Romney said, “Don’t plan on it.”

Romney is scheduled to speak tonight at 7:10 at Holman Stadium in Nashua, hours after Obama and Vice President Joe Biden speak in Portsmouth.
