"Visions for Vacancies," is a column where we provide you with a snapshot of various vacant commercial and retail spaces around town and ask what you think should go into that space.

The fun of it is that it really becomes a wish list of the things people want to see come to town, realistic or not. It's fun to dream, right? We know a new supermarket tops that list, but what else do you think would make Merrimack a better, more fun, convenient, or interesting place to live?

Feel free to be creative. It could be a long shot, but perhaps your idea kicks around another idea that actually becomes a viable option.

At the center of a strip mall with four empty store fronts is the space that most recently belonged to a take and reheat meals shop called Food To Go Depot. The shop includes a small retail space in the front and is equipped with a commercial kitchen, leaving this space open to some fun ideas.
