It’s definitely a fall weekend weather-wise. Expect patchy fog in the morning on Friday and then, sun, with temps around the mid-high-60s in the central part of the state (temps will be a little cooler on the Seacoast). Overnight, expect cloudy skies with highs in the mid-40s. On Saturday, rain is possible in the late morning and early afternoon, with highs in the mid-60s. The sun is expected to return on Sunday, with temps in the low 60s. Expect similar weather on Monday.

- There are all kinds of fun things happening at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, 221 Daniel Webster Hwy in Merrimack including the Walk For Whiskers 2014 event at 9 a.m. on Saturday (advanced registration required), Clydesdale Camera Day at 1 p.m., and an 8-Horse Hitch Appearance at noon on Sunday.
- The Craftworkers’ Guild Harvest Craft Shop 2014 is open through this month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the The Oliver Kendall House, 5 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford.
- The Manhattan Short Film Festival will be held at NHTI in Concord, at the Sweeney Auditorium, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are $10.
- The West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington St. in Portsmouth presents Caryl Churchill’s “A Number,” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets are $14 to $20.
Saturday
- The Girls Inc. Personal Best 5K will be held at 9 a.m. at Northeast Delta Dental on Delta Drive in Concord. Advanced registration is required. Entry fee is $20.
- There will be a family fun day at Nashua South High School, 36 Riverside St. in Nashua. Donation is $1.
- The 16th Annual Exeter Fall Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Water Street and the Swasey Parkway. The event is free.
- The Salem Fire Department is holding a Fire Safety Open House at Salem Fire, 152 Main St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The 6th annual Nini Palooza family fun day will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 166 South River Road in Bedford.
- The League of NH Craftsmen Nashua Fine Craft Gallery, 98 Main St. in Nashua offers a felting class at 10:30 a.m. Registration is required. Materials and fees cost $50.
- At The Canvas Roadshow, 176 South River Road in Bedford, the kids can paint on pumpkins at 2 p.m. and then the adults can paint and sip, Mexican Flower. Registration is required.
- Who’s hungry? The Main St. United Methodist Church, 154 Main St. in Nashua hosts a ham and bean supper at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $4 to $9.
- Mass in Blue, Todd’s flagship work, will be performed at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St. in Portsmouth at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.
- Phil & The Blanks perform on the deck at the Portsmouth Gas Light Co., 64 Market St. in Portsmouth at 7 p.m.
- Singer-songwriter Cormac McCarthy plays the Hilton Garden Inn – Portsmouth, 100 High St. at 8 p.m.
- Harvey Reid and Joyce Andersen are at the Simple Gifts Coffee House, 58 Lowell St. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $18.
- Symphony NH Concert presents Hearts Aflame at the Keefe Center for the Arts, 117 Elm St. in Nashua.
- Lookie Lookie perform at the Riverwalk Cafe and Music Bar, 35 Railroad Square in Nashua at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
- Wildfire performs at Whippersnappers Restaurant, 44 Nashua Road in Londonderry at 9:30 p.m.

- The 2nd Annual Salem Animal Rescue League Cruisin’ for Critters Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Salem High School, 44 Geremonty Drive in Salem. The event is free.
- 12th Annual NAMIWalks 5K will be held at the New Hampshire Hospital Soccer Field, South Fruit Street in Concord at 9 a.m.
- The Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk will be held at 10 a.m. in Mines Falls Park, 30 Whipple St. in Nashua. Advanced registration is required.
- St. James United Methodist Church, 646 D.W. Highway in Merrimack hosts a flu shot clinic from 10:30 to noon.
- The New Hampshire Food Truck Festival comes to the Redhook Brewery, 35 Corporate Drive in Portsmouth from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5.
- Three films are being shown at Red River Theatres in Concord as part of the Palestine Film Festival at 12:15 p.m.

- ‘The Glory of the White Mountains’ Art Reception and Exhibit happens at 1 p.m. at the New Hampshire Antique Co-op, 323 Elm St., Rte. 101A in Milford.
- At 2 p.m. in Milford, The Church of Our Saviour will be celebrating the gift of animals in our lives with a Blessing of the Animals at Emerson Park.
- 2120 South Michigan Avenue, a Chicago-style blues band, perform at the Bedford Public Library at 2:30 p.m.
- The University of New Hampshire Faculty Concert Series and St. John’s Episcopal Church Concerts on the Hill present Breath of the Absolute: Music for Trumpet and Organ from the World’s Spiritual Traditions at 3 p.m.
- Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 273 S. River Road in Bedford are offering a live webcast from Dallas, TX, featuring Greg Laurie and music by Mercy Me and Phil Wickman at 7 p.m. The event is free.
