What Do You Think Should Replace Uncle Hilde's?

Tell us what your vision is for this property.

Another business has left Merrimack, leaving a large hole on Daniel Webster Highway near Exit 11.

Merrimack Patch noticed recently that Uncle Hilde's Lumber Supply was looking pretty empty. A few weeks ago, signs appeared on the side of the building and the free-standing sign with a phone number to call for a lease or purchase of the building.

According to a listing on the New England Commercial Property Exchange, the former Saab dealership, turned lumber barn, at 293 Daniel Webster Highway can be leased for $8,050 a month.

The building is listed as having been built in 1994 and the property condition is described at "poor," but it has great visibility from the roadway.

Over the last year we periodically ask Patch readers what they'd like to see fill vacant businesses in town. Check out past popular "Visions for Vacancies" below.

In the meantime, tell us in the comments section what you think would be a good replacement for Uncle Hilde's in Merrimack?
