Welcom to your latest "Visions for Vacancies," where we provide you with a snapshot of various vacant commercial and retail spaces around town and ask what you think should go into that space.
The fun of it is that it really becomes a wish list of the things people want to see come to town, realistic or not. It's fun to dream, right? We know a new supermarket tops that list, but what else do you think would make Merrimack a better, more fun, convenient, or interesting place to live?
Feel free to be creative. It could be a long shot, but perhaps your idea kicks around another idea that actually becomes a viable option.

Our previous week's we've asked for suggestions for Zyla's and Zoots and we've had suggestions of, Market Basket, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, an ice skating rink, a sports complex or a Planet Fitness at Zyla's. Suggestions for Zoots included Game Stop, a Book Cellar, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries and Panera Bread and/or Starbucks
This week, we want to know what you'd like to see go into one of the spaces at the newly re-faced Merrimack Village Mall.

The mall is currently home to D.W. Diner, Phillip Taylor Salons, and Shawn Pacheco's Professional Martial Arts Academy, and more.
The space in question, Suite H, is 2,300 square feet and rents for $10 per square foot, according to New England Commercial Property Exchange.
Each unit in the mall has large store front windows and can be built to suit your businesses needs. The mall has natural gas heat and separate electric meters and HVAC units.
