According to police, on Jan. 12, an officer met with a representative of the club who alleged that Diaz had cashed a check in her own name and kept the money. The officer learned that Diaz reportedly volunteered to make phone solicitations for the club’s fundraiser this year.

“The check was issued by a local business that Diaz did not have any relationship with, other than the fundraiser,” according to Sgt. Sean Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department. “(The officer) requested and was granted an arrest warrant for Diaz.”
