Wrong-Way Driver in Merrimack Hit 90+ MPH With Kids in Van: Police
A Nashua man allegedly drove over 90 mph with two children in his van in Merrimack then assaulted police officers who pulled him over.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Nashua man Sunday night allegedly drove over 90 mph the wrong way on the Everett Turnpike with two children in his van.
Angel Rodriguez, 55, was charged with a host of crimes.
Police said they received a report at about 10 p.m. that Rodriguez was driving a Mercury Villager van north in the southbound section of the turnpike. Witnesses said he was driving over 90 mph and intentionally trying to hit other vehicles.

Officers pulled him over in Merrimack near Exit 10, at which point Rodriguez assaulted them, police said. The children were not hurt.
Rodriguez was charged with reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and disobeying a police officer. He was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail, where he was held without bail.
