The YMCA of Greater Nashua Secures Anonymous Donor’s Match for $100,000
Donations of $100,000 came in before the end-of-year deadline.

MERRIMACK, NH — The YMCA of Greater Nashua raised $100,000 before the end of the year, securing the $100,000 match that was offered by an anonymous donor, according to its website. The anonymous couple, who were described as friends of the YMCA, offered the challenge earlier this month, according to an article in the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The funds will go toward the YMCA’s total goal of $4.275 million to support the growth of programs and renovations at both the Nashua and Merrimack YMCAs. The plans include doubling the cardio space at the Nashua Y, and renovations of the pool and locker rooms at the Merrimack location.
