5 Things: Gas Prices Up In New Hampshire

1. Pumped up. Gas prices in New Hampshire have gone up almost a penny per gallon in the past week. The average retail price was $3.72 a gallon in the state, which matches the national average.
2. Horse-meatballs. Everybody's favorite cheap home furnishing store IKEA is the latest to fall into the horse meat controversy that is spreading across Europe. The stuff has been found in their meatballs, which have been pulled out of 14 stores.

3. Search "jealousy." Google employees are allowed to use up to 20 percent of their time working on special projects, many of which later end up as part of a Google product.
4. Congrats! Neil Brown of Milford, Ashley Clark of Milford and Alise Cremonini of Milford have been named to Plymouth State University's President's List. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the fall 2012 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. These credit hours must be in courses that earn grade points and the student must have completed all such courses attempted.
