5K Color Run - Run for Gus Color Craze

A 5K Color Run held at Souhegan High School.  All proceeds go to the Hope For Gus Foundation. Sign up today!

Cost of registration:
  • April 15th until May 3rd: $25
  • Day of run: $30

What is a color run?

A non-competitive, untimed race where each participant wears a white t-shirt (supplied by the run) and is covered in various colors of Color Dust at each kilometer of the race.   The event will begin with a Zumba warm-up (from 9:00am to 10:00am) and once runners finish the run and cross the finish line, they will arrive at a DJ performance/dance party with color dust being thrown everywhere.  This is a high-energy, spirited run for all ages!

What is the Hope For Gus Foundation?

A foundation that raises research dollars and awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  DMD is a degenerative disease which causes weakening of the muscles.  The boys affected by this disease lose muscle function very quickly, and most need wheelchairs by the age of 10 or 12.  Most boys with DMD die in their mid 20's.  The Hope For Gus Foundation is committed to funding research that will result in effective treatments for this disease in the near-term.  To find out more about Hope For Gus, visit http://hopeforgus.org/
