Alene Candles Appoints Avila As New Chief Operating Officer
Martin Avila will oversee operations in Ohio and Milford, aiming to strengthen automation and operational excellence, the company says.

NEW ALBANY, OH — Alene Candles, a manufacturer of custom-designed filled candles and home fragrance products, announced the appointment of Martin Avila as chief operating officer.
Avila will be based in Ohio and will oversee manufacturing operations across the company’s facilities in Ohio and Milford, New Hampshire, according to the company. His responsibilities will include leading engineering, supply chain, logistics, and sourcing. Avila is also tasked with driving operational efficiency, cost management, and company growth.
Avila has a background in electrical and mechanical engineering and holds a master’s degree in finance. He has held global leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies in various industries, including automotive, electronics, and consumer goods. His experience includes leading cross-functional teams and complex operational initiatives.

“Alene is exceptionally well-positioned in the market, with a strong reputation and a high-quality product,” Avila said. “My focus will be on strengthening our operational capabilities toward over-delivering on customer expectations, simplifying processes, enhancing automation, and aligning teams so we can continue to grow, while preserving the culture and creativity that makes Alene unique.”
He also expressed his belief in collaborative leadership.
