• Rain doesn't stop these competitive Girl Scout canoers (patch.com) — Milford Girl Scouts Natalie F. and Leila W. helped the Swift Water Paddlers earn several top finishes at the General Clinton Canoe Regatta over Memorial Day weekend. The New Hampshire– and Vermont-based team braved cold, rainy conditions to celebrate the Scout Race Division’s 50th anniversary and is inviting local girls in grades 6–12 to join future canoe racing seasons.
