New Elm Trees Planted

Since the Halloween snow storm of 2011 that destroyed the elm trees along Elm St. and the Oval, Bob Kokko of Kokko Real Estate has wanted to replace them. Bob had heard about the Liberty Tree Project in Keene who had developed a Dutch Elm Disease-resistant elm tree. He contacted the organization and purchased three 25 foot elm trees and donated the trees to the Town of Milford. With the help of Chappell Tractor the trees were planted on the Oval.
