Camp Souhegan: Deadline for Early Bird Rate & Scholarship Applications

June 2nd is the deadline to register and receive the early bird discount rate for Camp Souhegan.  June 2nd is also the due for all scholarship applications.

Located at the beautiful air-conditioned Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, 56 Mont Vernon Street in Milford, N.H., activities are offered on the property surrounding the building and at Keyes Field.

Day Camp: Grades K-1
Counselor-in-Training Program: Grades 8-1
Camp Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
*Drop-off times: 6:45am-9:00am
*Pick-up times: 4:00pm-6:30pm
Swim Lessons are also available during camp!

    Technology Camps: These specialty camps teach campers grades 6 to 10 how to create computer-generated art. Members' digitally created masterpieces may even be showcased at our Digital Arts Festivals showcase.

    Rock Climbing: Beyond the physical challenges offered by the GREAT HEIGHTS Climbing Center, kids participate in activities that increase their self-esteem, learn leadership skills, and develop team building skills.

    THEATER: Once Upon A Crime (grades 4+): This theater camp will culminate in 2 performances.  Kids should have some stage experience as the rehearsals will move along very quickly.  In the mornings, we’ll rehearse the show and in the afternoons, we’ll play theater games and other activities plus go for a swim at Keyes Field.
    • (grades 4+): Weeks 6-7 (7/28-8/8) *2 Week Session
    THEATER: Treasure Island (grades 3-6): We’ll work together to bring a high-seas pirate adventure to life in this special camp environment. We’ll play theater games, work on projection and character development, and more.  Those that are ready to speak will be given lines but don’t worry!  We make sure every participant is an important part of the story even if they aren't ready for lines! 
    • (grades 3-6): Weeks 3-4 (7/7-7/18) *2 Week Session
    THEATER: Stage Skills (grades 4+): In this camp, we will work on a developing stage skills in our professionally equipped 355 seat theater.
    • (grades 4+): Week 8 (8/11-8/15)
    Fishing Camp: Being outdoors is a summer necessity!  Fishing camp provides campers the opportunity to get outside, explore nature and learn how to be great fishers.
    • (grades 4-8): Week 6 (7/28-8/1)
    Dinosaur Camp: This specialty camp is a favorite of members and staff!  Something about dinosaurs intrigues us all. We'll explore the world of dinosaurs with fun activities, and we might just learn a thing or two about history.
    • (grades 1-2): Week 3 (7/7-7/11)
    Star Wars Jedi Camp: This Jedi themed specialty camp digs deep into the galaxy and teaches light saber mastery.  Learn fencing techniques from our experienced staff and explore the world of Star Wars all while having fun.  May the force be with you!
