Cooking Enthusiasts Wanted for Health, Wellness Fair

The St. Joseph Healthcare Health & Wellness Fair taking place on Saturday, May 2, at the Armory in Milford, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is looking for creative and enthusiastic cooks to enter the Healthy Recipe contest during the fair, according to a press statement.

Amateur and professional cooks are welcome.

The contest will feature two categories: entrees/appetizers and a dessert category. Recipes entered in the entrée category must contain the ingredient asparagus while recipes entered into the dessert category are asked to include rhubarb as an ingredient. All recipes will be judged for being the healthiest and the tastiest. Winning recipes will receive a cash prize and be published in the St. Joseph Healthcare Healthy Choices newsletter.

St. Joseph Hospital is partnering with SVCC to present a Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 2. The Fair will feature interactive booths, demonstrations, door prize drawings and free health screenings. The American Red Cross will also hold a blood drive during the Fair from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
