Why are you seeking elective office?
I'm running to ensure the Live Free or Die way of life is not only preserved but enhanced and protected for generations to come.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The New Hampshire Supreme Court has a current vacancy that will need to be filled by the next Executive Council, and it is very important to ensure that a qualified Justice that will uphold the natural rights of our Citizens and the Constitution will fill that seat. I intend to ensure that only the most qualified nominee is confirmed to that seat.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My opponent is riddled with conflicts of interest due to her families lobbying ties and clients. Her family lobbies for big oil, big pharma, big energy, banking interests, big tobacco, and big insurance, yet she still votes for commissioners that oversee electric rates, insurance rates, banking regulations, pharmacological regulations, and contracts that relate to all of these industries.
I, on the other hand, am running to represent the PEOPLE of District 5, not special interests. I will put the best interests of the citizens of New Hampshire first and ensure that the Granite State works for all, not only the well connected.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
My soft-on-crime opponent failed the people of Hillsborough County by failing to allow the Attorney General the resources needed to help get the County Attorney's office on track after a slew of problems under the Democrat County Attorney's lack-of-leadership.
She also obstructed and denied the Supreme Court confirmation to the Attorney General, Gordon MacDonald, leaving a vacancy on the Supreme Court and leaving the Court with only 4 justices.
On top of that, she won't even commit to whether or not she will commute a convicted cop-killer's sentence. "Justice for Some" Pignatelli does not represent the people of Executive Council District 5.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
As Executive Councilor I will defend the New Hampshire Advantage by ensuring contracts are fair, valuable, and accountable. By doing this we can save the taxpayers money while ensuring critical services are delivered.
We can provide the needed infrastructure for a growing economic state while keeping costs low, roads maintained, and providing clean water, air, and reliable energy for the citizens of the Granite State.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Most recently, I was able to defeat a motion to increase tolls on District 5 residents by over 50% in 2017. Similarly, I have stopped or decreased the costs of multiple contracts and have also been able to increase competition and oversight ensuring Granite Staters are getting what they're paying for and the best bang for their tax-dollar.
The best advice ever shared with me was …
"Watch what people do, not what they say."
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
As Executive Councilor, I have always fought to ensure that Granite Staters are not taken advantage of by big corporations, special interests, or lobbyists. I have always judged nominees for offices on their merits, qualifications, and professionalism. I have always looked at contracts based on their fairness to the taxpayer and the ability to hold the contractor accountable.
