Milford Republican receives key endorsement

Milford (10/26/22) – With less than two weeks until the voters head to the polls, State Senator Gary Daniels’ campaign received an important endorsement from the state's Chief Executive.

As Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, Gary Daniels was instrumental in passing a New Hampshire state budget that cut spending, cut taxes, increased public education funding by a record $102 million, returned $500 million to towns and cities for property tax relief, built the state’s rainy-day fund to $250 million and created record surpluses. Senator Daniels was also the driving force behind $36 million in funding for PFAS removal and wastewater cleanup, the full removal of the Merrimack tolls, as well as the key negotiator to prevent Merrimack taxpayers from taking over the upkeep of Continental Boulevard- saving the town hundreds of thousands a year.

In response to today’s endorsement, Senator Daniels added,“I am humbled by the Governor’s support and proud of the work we were able to accomplish together. In Concord, I am always looking out for the taxpayers and my constituents. With every day that passes, our campaign builds more momentum and our message of fiscal prudence is resonating with voters.

Concord needs leadership that will look out for the taxpayer and business community, keep our budget balanced, invest smartly in the health and education of our communities, and seek commonsense solutions to Washington’s inflation and war on domestic energy.
