Horse N' Hound Physical Therapy Gets New Building

Members of the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony; an open house will be held June 6.

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate a new building location for Horse N’ Hound Physical Therapy on Thursday, May 28, at 4 p.m. at their new location 288 South Merrimack Road in Hollis.

Horse N’ Hound provides physical therapy to veterinary-referred canine, equine and feline patients suffering from illness or injury that restrict their normal functional movement. The new building will also allow owners Jennifer and J.W. Brooks to treat horses on-site in the new rehabilitation equine barn.

The new facility is housed in a completely renovated 1840s barn. Said J.W. Brooks, “We cleaned and brought the barn right down to the studs. We reclaimed some of the siding to for inside, cleaned all of the beams and stained the floor. We wanted to preserve as much of the original as we could.” The facility also features a dog walking path on the property.
