CASA of New Hampshire, a statewide nonprofit, provides volunteer guardians ad litem to be the voice of these children in court proceedings, and to identify and advocate for what is in the child’s best interest in these cases, to ensure that each child grows up in a safe and permanent home.
On Wednesday, June 10, at 7 p.m., CASA will hold an informational session in the Whipple Free Library that is free and open to the public. Hear from CASA staff as well as a couple volunteers from New Boston who will share their experiences with attendees about how they are able to make an impactful difference in the life of an abused or neglected child. Our volunteers come from all backgrounds and no experience in child services or law is needed. Volunteers simply need to be adults who have desire to help give a child a chance at a stable home life. The work is challenging, but rewarding.
