NH Bride Makes National Headlines When She Hitchhikes to Wedding
After her limo gets a flat tire, a driver passing by offers Angelique Arsenault and her wedding party ride to Milford venue.
MILFORD, NH — Angelique Arsenault, from Brookline, made national headlines when a photo of her hitchhiking to her wedding went viral, according to a story in People Magazine.
Arsenault was on her way to her wedding on Sept. 10, 2016 when her limo broke down with a flat tire, according to the reports. Arsenault put her thumb up, and received a ride from a driver passing by. Though she was 30 minutes late, she made it to her wedding at Mile Away Restaurant and venue in Milford to marry her groom, Jarrod Dunning.
“It pretty much made the whole day,” Arsenault said in an interview with WBZ-TV. “Everybody was laughing all night about it. It’s going to be a story that we’ll remember forever.”
