Local Men Arrested for Assault, Theft

The following are arrests from the Milford Police Department's most recent log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

• Andrew A. Purba, 18, of 227 Stable Road, Milford, charged with four counts of simple assault and resisting arrest on Dec. 24.

• Frank Leo Ducharme, 38, of 191 Riverdale St., New Boston, arrested on a warrant for alleged traffic offenses Dec. 24.

• Cherylann McDowell, 49, of 85 Elm St., Apt. 4, Milford, charged with simple assault and vandalism Dec. 25 and awaits a Jan. 16 court date to answer to the charges.

• Travis L. Guay, 23, of 651 Starch Mill Road, Mason, charged with disobeying an officer on Dec. 27. He has a Jan. 23 court date on the charge.

• Matthew A. Thatcher, 31, of 10 Trevor Court, Milford, charged with attempt to commit theft from a building, and he was arrested on a warrant Dec. 28 and has a court date of Jan. 23 to answer to the charges.

• Robert Douglas Peters, 40, of 105 Ridgefield Drive, Milford, charged with conduct after an accident Dec. 29. He is to appear in court Jan. 23 to answer to the charge.
